Dr.Jayaprada is a wonderful doctor , because of her diagnosis skills, making her clients no need to tell her the whole and depth story to find out the challenge in it , her listening skills are appreciable , she shows patience while her client sharing their stories , she responds to the clients talk in a very great way as well , she makes good environment to share things with her, leaving no discomfort in the conversations , she appreciates the works of clients making them sure of their strengths and efforts , she's good in explaining us the things , she's friendly as well , her treatments are the best part of her therapy for me ,

I know Dr. Jayaprada for the last 2 years, I came to her with some simple study related issue with my daughter, eventually the whole family ended up meeting and talking to her, its not that we had (m)any issues, but then you might be wondering why, here is my explanation;

After our initial consultation with Dr. Jayaprada, and seeing marvellous changes, I was baffled with the results. So out of curiosity I went on to do a short course on Psychology and here is what I learnt:

1. If you find that a family member has issues, it actually implies its a family issue not an individual issue. Hence the family getting counselled becomes imperative.

2. In case it was still an individual’s issue then the family would have handled it, and it actually keeps happening most of the time.

3. Entire family getting counselled yields exponential results

4. Family getting counselled leads to not only resolving the specific issue, but actually lead to eliminating the root cause of the issue which only a good psychologist like Dr. Jayaprada can identify and resolve.

5. Once the root cause of the issue is addressed then it will eliminate new issues from cropping up in the future. The whole family feels more empowered.

6. It also help each member of the family to understand the nature of the other members and work around it.

7. Very often a family members’ (unalterable) basic nature is misconstrued as deliberate actions or actions which we think have to be restrained. These personality traits have to be accepted and be at peace with it.

Now my family (me, my husband, 2 children and Mom-in-law) is very happy, no more frictions, no arguments, all conversations are friendly and jovial. Each one of us are doing better in our respective trades, my husband is doing better at his office, children’s studying better and have good friends, my cooking is getting more appreciation than earlier, My mom-in-law is more at peace with herself and not bothering others. On the whole we have become a “santhust aur sukhi pariwar”.

I would rate her 10 out of 5 because that’s how helpful she was. I can’t thank her enough for helping me feel secure and safe.

She listens very carefully and patiently. Does not make any assumptions and gets your pain.

We visited the clinic for one of our friends in the college who is in a relationship with another friend of us but their family is creating lots of issues. They are unable to decide whom they should prioritize, their personal relation or their family. This is creating issues between them also and they seeked some knowledgeable psychotherapist's help. Dr. Jayaprada has immense knowledge and helped them with her valuable advice. I accompanied them to the clinic and was really happy to see how helpful all the clinic staffs are.

After researching extensively, I decided to finally give therapy a shot. I finalized on Dr Jayaprada because she had good reviews and a lot of experience. I was utterly disappointed with the session. I appreciate that she was atleast "trying" to be friendly but her opinions about things differed from mine. I understand that these things are subjective but I am paying 2450 for the session (450 is the first time registration fee) and it is natural to expect the doctor to have an open mind about things. She spoke about astrology, the numerous miracles that she had encountered, invalidated my feelings when I said that I experience existential crisis. How she came to this conclusion is actually funny. She figured it all out by my handwriting, which is great. Not disregarding anything about Graphology. I just don't believe it myself. She believes in astrology. Again, that is absolutely okay. It is just that I did not expect her to give me a prediction about my career. I had also mentioned that my mother talks to me about such things and subtly hinted that I personally do not like it when she does it. I liked how she had lots of books in her office/home clinic. We spoke about few of them. She mentioned Devdutt Pattanaik. How his books are really good etc. But she also mentioned that he is gay. How was that relevant in that context? Was that required to be mentioned there? I don't know. Finding a good therapist is also based on luck sometimes. This was my one shot at it and I can't go for a therapy anytime soon as it is so expensive. I wish it was worth it.

We had gone to the her for couple counselling. The doctor took 2-3 calls in between the session, which broke our rhythm. We were not explained what to expect from the session and we really thought we will get at least some advice in the end. She stopped the session at exact time and we were not even guided when to come next. She left it on us to decide. It was quite abrupt and in fact, me and my husband we felt more depressed and frustrated. I informed her on WhatsApp message. She didn't even bother to respond even after 24 hrs. I won't recommend her for couple counselling at all

One of my childhood friends is facing serious family problems for which he wanted to get help from a psychotherapist. I accompanied him in one of his visits to Dr. Jayaprada's clinic. I have observed the clinic is very well maintained, the staffs are well behaved and empathic. Dr. has immense knowledge and have been practicing since long time. She listened to my friend's issues and gave valuable advice which has been useful for him to get rid of family problems. Now he is much better than before in terms of his mental health.

Doctor Jaya is very kind, patient and skilled. The sessions have helped me deal with my condition a lot better. I have also heard a lot of positive reviews from other people before coming for her session. She's one of the best psychologists. Anyone who needs any help with their mental well-being, doctor Jaya is your goto person.

Doctor is very professional. She will guide us to work on root cause of problems. She will give you that space to share what we are struggling with. Very patient in listening. She will give Practical and sustainable approach to deal with problems in a long run . Overall I would recommend people who are struggling . You will find a comfort friend in her.

My son is suffering from a trauma disorder since we had a fire accident in our house last year during Diwali. During the Diwali celebrations, somehow it caught fire inside the puja room that we couldn't stop ourselves. We had to call the fire brigade who stopped the fire. My son is a small kid of 7 years and after seeing the fire he got so much shocked. Few of us even got injured from the fire that was also scary for him. He now gets scared even if we lit a candle or if he looks into the gas stove. Dr. Jayaprada could easily make terms with him so that he opened up easily and listed to doctor's advice carefully. Doctor helped him to manage the trauma and get out of it slowly.
